Solar Express Transmission Project

Solar Express is committed to renewable energy. Southwest Nevada and Southeast California have some of the highest solar radiation levels in the US and is therefore a preferred region for locating new forms of “utility scale” solar generation.

The Solar Express project is a new 120 mile, 500kV, transmission line, being developed by Solar Express Transmission LLC, that will connect these new forms of generation and connect them to the Eldorado Valley, Nevada, which is a major point of connection in the US power grid. From the Eldorado Valley, the solar energy can be delivered to the major regional populations centers of Nevada, California and the Desert Southwest.
